• Tuesday, June 16th, 2009 - There's a new album available by Amaranthine Skies entitled "Enveloped"! It's a droning album with lots of heavy guitars and mellow synths applied to entrance the listener and let them focus on the hypnotic rhythms. Click on the album cover at the top left or [here] for more information and samples.
Also, Version 5 of Concatenation is up! Granted, not all of it is done, but all the main parts of the site are - those main parts being this page, the Concatenation release pages, the catalog pages (for the most part), and the shop page. Things should be a lot easier for purchasing multiple Concatenation releases (if you so choose).
Concerning that, almost all of the old Concatenation releases that were only on CD are now available for MP3 download, for those of you not inclined to purchase CDs (the number seems to grow with each passing day). If you've ordered the password for xoc's "The Beginning of the End" album from here, the other releases follow the same principle (download the .rar, buy the password for $5). Check out the Shop link at the top for more information in which formats you can get the releases in.
Going back to the update, the parts of the site that are still in Version 4 will be updated over time, but the title bar has been updated on all of the pages so you won't find any dead links (hopefully). Version 5 is intended to be the definitive version of the label, with only minor tweaks occuring in the future. In fact, the official sites for Jason's projects will be taking on a similar style, as will his homepage (the root directory for where this site is hosted, due to the fact that he's the one typing this in the third person right now).
Weekly updates will continue for a while until the whole site is upgraded to Version 5, but after that, updates will slow until a week before a new release is due out or if something label related occurs. This will give Jason a chance to spend more time on music, recreation, and maybe even sleep!
Next week will have some more cleanup and maybe some future news! Gotta space things out a bit, you know?
